This book had all the potential of a great book. An interesting story line, great characters and conflict. However Alice Sebold had the cards set against her for this book. I read this when it first came out and finished it utterly disappointed. Now 9 months later I have re read it and found a new liking for it. Lovely Bones was FABULOUS!!!!
