When I first encountered the Hunger Games back in 2008/2009, I thought it was very unreal and stupid because of the storyline being about killing other tributes, etc. Three years later I grabbed the Hunger Games and gave it another chance and was blown away by it. Once I was done the first book, we were leaving for vacation so I ran to Chapters right when it opened and purchased the next two books to bring with me.
