Didn't tie up any loose ends

I enjoyed the last book in the Marked series. I skimmed through parts of the first two but had to know the ending to such a compelling storyline, so I bought the final book. By far this book is the most well-written and interesting read of the 3 and I couldn't wait to finish it, to finally learn how the whole series ends.
