As a younger girl-which really wasn’t all that long ago-, I loved the Dear Canada series very much. And I still pick my copies up occasionally and read through them. They offer such insight into a world that the people of our generation today don’t really understand. There were so many other things to worry about than the trivial and often monetary worries that we have today. I love Picoult books for many reasons. The confusion is just one of them, but the thing I can say that I love the most is how you get to play detective within the novel. Like in this one, Second Glance there are about a million characters, and at the beginning it's a little, okay majorly confusing. But, Picoult gives you little clues here and there, and if you catch them it all starts to make sense.
