It took me a while to get through this book. I found that Part One was really hard to read because of all the pain and suffering that Acheron had to go through in his life. At times I didn't think I could stand to read any further and had to put the book down for days at a time which is unusual for me. Part Two was much more relaxed but I think the reader needed to know the tragic past of Acheron to truly appreciate the character that he became, despite his horrible life in Part One.     I have it sitting on my shelf waitting to read I read the first chapter and I found it a little dull but I will get around to reading it. So many books I must read first. I am just about to start first drop of crimson and I can't wait to read it, I think it might be an all nighter tonight.

    Sherrilyn Kenyon's dark-hunter series(which includes Acheron) and the dream-hunter series(which includes Dream Chaser) are all excellent books! Acheron has a list with the correct reading order of the series, and after Acheron there are three other books....One Silent Night, Dream Warrior, and Bad Moon Rising. Each book I love for different reasons, but if you liked the first two you read, you'll like the others.
