You Better Knot Die

You Better Knot Die | Betty Hechtman

Another in the Crochet Mysteries from BPC!

Yes, even up Northin Haliburton, I r-e-a-d... The 5th in Ms. Hechtman's "Crochet mysteries" from BPC. Each one of these is funnier than the previous one...& this one is a hoot. A pinch of murder, a romantic thread, a ponzi scheme, w/a dash of the current vampire craze. Definitely recommend that you take this one along on your next vacation...provided that you can find a copy at your local venue...I got the last one at Bay & Bloor. But look for it! I really had some laughs...some of the chara… read review

Re: Berkley Prime Crime

This is the url for Berkley Prime Crime - the 'publisher' of a number of different series (owned[?] by Penguin): http://berkleysignetmysteries.com/
You can check out what titles will be published & when. BTW: you can also sign up for emails as to new titles published by your fav author; I do this for Childs & Kingsbury. A monthly newsletter is available as well. Good for those fans of Charlene Harris (one of BPC's authors) who want to keep ahead of new books.. Some examples of titles … view post

Re: avatar ... I do not mind people knowing who I am. I have also received several emails and notes from authors, always positive though thanking me for a review. I've never gotten a nasty one ... that seems a little unprofessinal?

Oh, I did the cut and paste ... I post all my reviews on Goodreads too. I think I stopped because is seemed somehow "self important" to put my reviews on the site too. Silly I know.

Thanks for the compliment ... I will do that because you asked :-) I used to post al my reviews and stopped for some reason.

Hey, when you finish the Tiger Ladies would mind letting me know what you thought of it? I've been reading a lot of memoirs of women from the Middle East so would be interested to see if you think it was worth the price. If so, I might just grab a copy. Cheers.

Sure thing! Spirit Bound is actually the 5th book in the Vampire Academy series. If you're interested in them, here's the order:
    1. Vampire Academy
    2. Frostbite
    3. Shadow Kiss
    4. Blood Promise
    5. Spirit Bound
    6. Last Sacrifice (not released yet)
They are really, really good. If you do read them, please let me know what you think of them. :)
    Happy readings!
