Very disappointing

The concept of this cookbook is great but the recipes are VERY disappointing. I tried 9 of them and each time, my husband asked me NEVER to make the dish again. Each recipe is some combination of meat with a sauce and most of the sauces have different combinations of vinegar, ketchup, soy sauce etc. This is the way I cooked 20 years ago when I didn't know better.
