Once your over the beginning( very graphic and descriptive) you read a very fasinating well written story. I loved that it was such a different story and a really nice change. read review

I've heard a lot of good things about The Book of Negroes too. I should buy it and read it. I haven't read The Thirteenth Tale, but I see it all the time in bookstores. I should pick it up. I’ve read The Road, such a bleak and depressing story. I loved it. Haha. I like those depressingly dark novels. I've never heard of Swan Song. Who wrote it?

The best book I have read in a very long time. The story is so wonderfully written. I felt like there were so many stories within the main one. It doesn't overwhelm you though,you just feel like you have traveled the road with them. I wish I could put into words as well as he has on recommending this.
