Addictive and challenging

We opened one of these at our store to give a preview of the product. Instead, we found at least five employees become quickly addicted to trying to maneuver the ball around the maze. It's definitely tricky, and won't be easily mastered, which gives it a lot of potential playing time and a truly satisfied feeling once the player does manage to get all the way through. A great choice for puzzle-lovers of all ages! read review

Book Inventory

No, not the store inventory, but rather my own. I've undertaken the very large task of copying down the book title, author, genre, sub-genre and format of every book I have in my room right now into an Excel document on my laptop. Considering I've started today and only managed to get through my smaller bookcase, I already have 138 titles entered. I'm sort of staring at my larger bookcase a bit warily right now.

Note: this only counts the books I have on hand at the moment, not … view post

  • About Me:

University student who loves to read (as seen by the double major in English and History). I'm slowly putting together some reviews for books that stood out to me, but I am writing a short comment on -every- book I have read, so I hope that helps you! Feel free to leave recommendations of books you think I might like, or ask for recommendations or more details on books I've read. I'm quite willing to accept friend requests.

  • Position:

Cashier and occasional CER: if I've read a book before, I'll tell you what I thought about it (or what I've heard from other custies or CERs) and hopefully that helps you feel more comfortable with your purchase!

  • Why I Love My Job:

The BOOKS! Oh my gosh, the books. Talking about, looking at and buying books. My shelves have grown exponentially since I started my job.

    Reading, dancing (hip-hop), shopping, movies.

  • Favourite Genres:

Teen, Historical/regency romance, (Auto)biography, Urban Fantasy, Linguistics and origins of language, History - (social and cultural), Series of nearly any kind

That's interesting!! I get the impression that most people like Briggs more! I can't judge yet since I've only read Rachel Vincent, but I am pretty excited to read Moon Called--soon!! Happy Reading!! :)

The world is the same, but because the characters are different, Last Days has a very different feel than Peeps. It was good, but I definitely liked Peeps better. The characters from Peeps show up later in the book though, so they tie together.

Totally dif writing between English & History .. there`s a lot more room for interpretation with English that i think won me over, I really like the notes u`ve put with ur books, ive had the chance to look at a few but i will def ask if something catches my eye in the future once school calms down.. if you like Shakespeare, i would rec UBU ROI. personally I thought it was funny, its so ridiculous, hes quite a character .. and its kinda like MacBeth. if i think of anything else ill let u know :D

Hey, nice to meet you. Yes I am a English major at York, I read your profile and I just switched from History, which i love, but English seemed more challenging bc i love to write.
I am in the process of reorganizing my shelves so i used to have a school section but its all been condensed into one for now. I am taking some drama class and love them, I highly recommend taking one if you haven't, its just a new depth to literature. I love your selection! Im always open to recommendations <3
