Company: A Novel | Max Barry

...but three's a crowd.

I have an issue with Max Barry; a rocky relationship that forces me to simultaneously love and hate his writing. You see, Max Barry's ideas are brilliant. Truly inspired. I wish that I'd stolen them before he ever set pen to paper and published all the books that he would come to write. The problem is that the conclusion to these wonderful ideas is absolutely abysmal. Ah University. What a wonderf- no. Okay. It's kind of a pain. I'm in a dead-end English degree, one year away from my BA. I say dead-end only because I have ABSOLUTELY no desire to teach, so a degree in English is about as useful as Sarah Palin would have been in office (I kid, I kid). Nonetheless, I'm taking a creative writing concentration and so I hope to improve my writing skills. Because girls only like guys with skills.
