This is such a beautiful love story! While reading this book I laughed, cried and even missed my stop on the subway by a long-shot because I was just so wrapped up in it's story. Definitely reminded me of just how beautiful love can be. read review

Thank you so much for the kind words. I don't have kids, so that allows me to have the extra time for all the animals, plus I am self employed, so most often I can work when I please. I also believe that there is a sucker stamp somewhere on me that I just can't see. LOL. I can't say no when the next step is the shelter or being abandoned in the alley. I hope you had a great weekend!

Awww! Mia is such a cute name for a terrier. She must be very clever and athletic to get into things like that. I'm impressed that she can get on the windowsill! Does she like to play with toys? I like seeing animals play with balls or chew toys. In my case catnip mice are the toy of choice.

I see that you are a vegetarian. I am too. How long have you been one?

Yup, poor Stone. It breaks my heart to think someone abandoned him. He definitely was a house cat at some point because isn't afraid of the vacuum or anything and he knew all about the litter box.

No, he still doesn't get along with Aaliyah and Aurora. I keep them away from each other as much as possible. Stone plays rough and they don't like him. Aaliyah will smack him if he gets out of line, so they can be around each other at a distance, but Aurora is terrified of him.

My cat’s names are Aaliyah age 7, Aurora age 7, and Stone. Aaliyah and Aurora are sisters from the same litter. Stone is a stray cat that showed up at my house during a bad snow storm a couple winters back. I brought him inside because I didn’t want him to freeze and he ended up moving in. I have no idea how old he really is, but I’d guess in the 8 – 12 range

Aww, what is your terrier's name? That's cute that she sits on the fabric. Oh no, was the sewing needle stuck in her mouth or was she just holding it in her teeth with the point not jabbing her? It's too bad that you haven't sewn anything since, but in your situation I would be nervous about it too. There must be a way you could keep her with you while you sew but keep her from getting anything sharp, small, or dangerous.

Thanks for the note! I'm sure I will have good weekend. I'm trying to learn knitting and crocheting at the moment and I've got to say how completely not helpful my kitties are with that. They are constantly trying to steal or play with the yarn I'm using causing me to mess up. They are much better reading partners than crocheting/knitting partners. It’s funny to watch them though.
