Sittenfield is recieving alot of good press about this, her third novel. And timing is everything - a novel about an American first lady during the run up to the American elections? What could be better? And the novel starts out strong. Sittenfield is doing what she does best - writing about teenage angst and the social dynamics of high school. On Reading 52 Books a Year

I am an avid reader. I love to read more than just about anything else in the world. So about a year ago i set myself with the task of reading a book a week for a year. I thought this wouldn't be too hard - that's only 52 books. Besides i like to set highly attainable goals for myself.
