Superb Storytelling

Habibi is the perfect example of a true graphic novel. It's not just a comic book, but an epic and incredibly detailed story. Within this gorgeously rendered book is a story of love, hope, despair, and sexuality, amidst the intense backdrop of a poverty-stricken Middle-Eastern country. Dodola and Zam are incredibly human, rich with flaws and admirable traits. You wish the best for both of them, and are unable to tear yourself away from their plights.
