This is a pretty good book. That said, there are a few things that anyone who's considering this book should be aware of: 1) As stated in the preface, the authors have chosen to focus topics of interest to them. As a consequence, the book focuses primarily on physiology and there is little in the way of information on anatomy, morphology and evolution.
