It Just Lacks That Certain Something

It wasn’t the synopsis that inspired me to buy this book...it was the cover art that made me think that Vicious Circle might be an exciting new series. Unfortunately, the meat of this book failed to live up to its brilliant cover. Oh, don’t get me wrong – it wasn’t horrible and won’t end up in Area 57, but it doesn’t inspire me to recommend it to anyone either and I might hesitate in reading further instalments. Why? I decided to jump in with both feet (after missing episode 1 of True Blood, S3) and just go ahead and watch episode 2, "Beautifully Broken".

First of all, this post is going to contain some serious SPOILERS so if you haven't seen it yet (and you care) do not pass go. Do not collect $200. Buh-bye.
