My Soul to Take | Rachel Vincent

A really nice surprise

I have no idea why I randomly picked up this title, but I'm definitely glad I did! I'm going to start with the things I didn't like just because I think this review should end on a good note just as the book did. The beginning was quite cliche (the "super hot unreachable boy who is nothing but surprisingly insightful and understanding for unexplainable reasons and is therefore too good to be true" story line has been done and done again), and for that reason was a little too much on the pred… read review

Hi, so sorry for the delay in response. The Ann Rice Lestat series is amazing. It's definitely NOT a teen read. It's been a few years since I read them, & you definitely have to be in the right frame of mind. She is a very descriptive author, so they can get a wee bit boring in parts. But all in all, I fell in love with every character, & couldn't get enough of the world that AR had created.
So, I recommend, but make sure that you have all of the teen vamp out of your system for a teecy while.

I planed to read the summer away also, but I just haven't had time. I have only read three books.I have been busy painting and few other things.

    hey,
    thanks for the add :)
what have you been up to?

  • Tee Lee

    Tee Lee says:

Yeah I really did like it. I wish Warner Brothers would get heir hands on it and make it a movie like Harry Potter. I think they'd do a really great job.
Just to let you know, I don't have an employee button but I work at Chapters in Dartmouth.
As for the add, no prob. I quite enjoy meeting new people who have similar interests.
