Deadlocked: A Sookie Stackhouse Novel

Deadlocked: A Sookie Stackhouse Novel | Charlaine Harris

As a HUGE fan of this series I was thoroughly disappointed again!! The first 10 books were great but the last few are getting uneventful and uninteresting with only the last few chapters of the book being intriguing!! Of course if you've read the other books you'll want to read this book.... Although disappointed by the quality of the book, the plot and even the lack of excitement in the first 2/3 of the book I would read it again....there's always answers to your previous questions and lets … read review

  • About Me:

I've always had an obsession for Vampires! LOL....and I wasn't much of a reader since I had to read so much for school...but I was curious about all the hype about Twilight that I decided to pick it up since I do love vampires and impossible love stories! Well, haven't been able to put a book down since!! I am always reading and sometimes spend the entire night without putting a good book down! I read the twilight series in just 4 days (still going to work all day...reading mainly at night)!

How are you? I just started reading the Dark Huntress Series. It's very good, I would highly recommend it. It's my new fav. It's up there with Sookie Stackhouse books. Gotta love vamps. :) Hope you are well!

Everything is good here! I'm taking my little girl on a shopping trip in a few weeks, very excited. You sound like my January/February. It's the two months out of the year that I read the least and seem the busiest. I only read the first to VD and then I gave up on it, just couldn't get into it. I loved the mortal instruments series but I'm having trouble getting into Clare's next series. I have read the first few chapters but am now putting it on hold. I hope you get through VD!

Hey Vampire lover, how are things? Reading anything good? I'm stuck on the Anita Blake Series and looking forward to the next Vampire Academy.

Hi there! September was crazy, sorry I didn't get back earlier. I read Good in Bed, is was great, I also read in her shoes which was also very good although I would have tossed Maggie much sooner. So many people recommended the Shopoholic books to me and I just couldn't read them. but sometimes, you're right, you just need a short break from the supernatural. lol. I'm back to reading the Anita Blake series, I love it!

Hey Vampire Lover! How you doin? I noticed you read Good in Bed? Was it really good? I'm thinking of reading it. Also, the City of Glass series, was really good, I would recommend it. I noticed it's in your to read list. I enjoyed the Emily Giffin books but did not like the Shopoholic books. She wa too whiney.

Well...Here's the thing. i can read and watch Eric all day long too. I find I'm fast forwarding through all the parts that don't have Eric, Pam (love Pam) and Sookie. The Tara story line drives me nuts and Jason is starting to too. It's sad I know. As for VA, it was recommended to me and I loved it. The final book of the series comes out in December.

Hey there! Unfortunately not loving it so far, what about you? yey! only two more to go after that. I really liked number 9. I liked 8 too. How are you enjoying them? I also finished the vampire academy, loved it. Reading an Anita Blake novel right now, they're a little creepy but still good.

Thanks for accepting my freind request,If you have any book suggestions or need some let me know. I see your reading The vampire diaries do you like them so far? :0)

I read the first two of the Vampire Diaries (it was one book with both books in it) I did not enjoy it. I did finish it but it did nothing for me. I felt like the characters and the story were weak and have not read the rest of them. A couple of my friends keep trying to get me to watch the show, they say it's amazing but I can't bring myself to do it, the book turned me off the whole story concept. I will try the Host. I will keep in mind that I have to get past the first few chaps. :)
