I thought Runt was a well written story about a wolf pup living in the hasrh wilderness alongside human beings. Runt is a novel for a child just beginning to get into novels, yet it can be enjoyed by adults too. The novel begins when Runt's parents see how their youngest pup is the smallest and weakest of the other pups. Here are some other books I highly reccemend, though Chapters Online does not seem to have them. You might have to check used books section but it will be well worth it!

Hunter`s Moon by Garry Kilworth is a great little book about foxes, its written in the style of Jack London and follows the life of O-ha, a vixen coming to terms with life in suburbia and dealing with pesky humans. It was in reader`s Digest Book Collection, and deserves t be widely read.

    Well this is profile...nothin fancy or anything. If you want my booklists and intrests types in a nutshell I like action, mystery, thriller and horror novels that are filled with prose and delicate writing. I enjoy books that speak a deeper meaning while at the same time become compelling and addictive to the mind. My reviews are at times snappy, I wish to see the familiar promising authors take the risks needed to write great books.
