The Line

The Line | Teri Hall

so that was kind of boring.

I'll start this off by saying I LOVE dystopian novels. It's currently one of my favourite genres. So I really wanted to love The Line, but... I just couldn't. (Which is why I gave this book 2 stars. I have a soft spot for dystopian books). There was a ton of potential for this book. I'm not going to describe the plot and whatnot because you can read about it for yourself. But it really was there. Another review I read stated it pretty well--there's nothing particularly wrong with this book,… read review

I was very surprised actually. I was thinking "Hmm, why is Crimson sending me a note" then I read it and laughed. My mom gave me a look.

Yes, it has been awhile. Chapters has been a lot quieter since the Twitter boom. BOOM.

I'm going to stop writing this note and edit/read/take a walk/respond to tweets.

    Goodbye.

*beep* The note will self-destruct in three...two...one-BOOM!

plot lines. So I'm wondering if she did hint at it early and we never noticed. Richelle Mead usually has her books planned in advance so I wonder if it was there the whole time. Maybe in the distant future when I reread them I'll see it.

Well, you did recently talk about seeing TB without his clothes :P

Dorian was actually the only one that had red hair that was NOT related. Eugeine, Jasmine, and Dorian's ex-mistress and her kids were related and they were the only ones besides Dorian that were gingers. It was stupid to bring the plot ploy in, but I wonder. Richelle Mead is a huge foreshadower. If you've ever re-read VA the two main events (Dimitri being changed and Mason dying) are foreshadowed as well as other little...

a fan of the kids being left away, and the not telling Dorian. That was dumb imo. She did it to keep the children safe, but still. It was too convenient that the kids were magically Dorian's. Like, c'mon. Not everything needs to be perfect. Voulsian dying made my heart sad. So did his back story. Kiyo NOT dying just pissed me off. I think that's all I wanted to say.

Okay, so I was going through my emails and found some of the old "I've posted a note on your profile" and now I miss getting those :P So I'm sending you a note!

Besides missing getting those emails imma talk about Shadow Heir. The reason I think that Ysamin being Eugiene's sister was hinted at is hair colour (one of the reasons). I kept thinking to myself "Wow. This book should be called the Book of Gingers since everyone is a red-head". They also share the same powers. I was not (con't)

Wait, they're not witches anymore? WTF? Why was that thrown in? What was the point of randomly making them witches and then saying "ahh...nevermind"?
