Monsters Of Men: Chaos Walking: Book Three

Monsters Of Men: Chaos Walking: Book Three | Patrick Ness

OUTSTANDING!

I keep thinking this Trilogy can't get any better, and I'm proven wrong time after time again. I never had a favourite series or book but I do now! I won't be replacing this until someone can do better. I also would definitely not mind if Patrick Ness wrote a forth book - I hope your reading this - Because I will run out to the store to buy it. Although I do want to go deeper into the lives of Todd and Viola (them as a couple). I'm not quite ready to let them go yet, and I don't think I ev… read review

Kelley Armstrong!

I have found that I'm absolutely in love with Women of the Otherworld. My fetish started of with a good deal for 10 dollars each, which then I bought two. Bitten and Stolen. Then later on I was blessed with the sale buy 3 get one more free, which knocked out six of her books with only two visits to my near by Chapters.

Initially I first bought Bitten because I found out that before The Summoning she had written another whole series of werewolves and people of the supernatural … view post

some time to really digest them because I've gobbled them down so quickly, & if I try to review them right away, it's not as coherent or thorough as I'd like - not that my reviews are always much of either. I tend to write very personal reviews. But regardless of my style, those books that I almost mourn finishing; that I want to start rereading as soon as I finish because I don't want to let go of that world yet, are usually those I need more time to process before I can write a decent review.

I know. I'm the same way when I'm really excited about something I've just finished & absolutely loved, especially those books I just can't put down & end up sailing through way too fast because I keep looking at my clock & saying to myself, "just one more chapter," & end up staying up all night finishing. And it's those books that I'm depressed about finishing cause I want MORE! Heheheh. But those are also the books that it's good for me to let sink in before I write a review. I find I need...

    Hey DofF,
Thanks for the recommendations. It would be great, though, if you wrote a bit more about the books... why you loved them and even if you compared them to something else you've liked/loved (or didn't) and elaborated... Why not write a review? It's great to know you really enjoyed them. It would be better to know why, and it would tempt more people to follow your recommendations, so you'd be spreading the joy that much farther and wider!

Hope things are good with you.

Hey DofF: Thanks for the invite. Glad to see you're at a school for the arts. When I went to Uni to study film prod (looong ago) I gave up drawing & painting for lack of time & it's something I regret now that I'm at home & do have the time. I feel as if I'm having to relive the same frustration I already went through once. Keep drawing, always (like reading). At least reading is a skill you don't really have to keep honed. Do you have a career in mind? Book cover illustration maybe? :)
