Old Man's War

Old Man's War | John Scalzi

Join the Army at 75?

Sure why not, they promise to make you young again, explore space, and once you've completed your tour of duty, you get to colonize on another planet and have a second life. The catch? Out of every 1000 recruits, only 200 will make it through to the new life, and you can never return to earth. Excellent read. Well worth the read. read review

"... is an equal opportunity reader!...." ~ quote from The Stand Vol 1 - Captain Trips I love to read and love to share the books I've read with my friends. Its really great if I'm reading the same book as someone else and we get to share our theories of the endings. My goal is to reach 1000 books on my "Have Read" shelf.

Logged in to add Under the Dome to the shelf... it feels like there was one more book between that Splinter Cell book and Under the Dome, but I cannot remember which one it was....
