Mockingjay: The Final Book of the Hunger Games

Mockingjay: The Final Book of the Hunger Games | Suzanne Collins

MOCKINGJAY- a revolution

mockingjay, to live in it's presence, a revolution. an amazing and crazy end to the breathtaking trilogy. the hunger games was a great book that gave the others reason to be. catching fire re-enforced the reason to the girl who was on fire. and finally, mockingjay...now katniss is the mockingjay, and a crazy turn of events has begun. honestly an amazing book, and series. i highly encourage everyone to read this book (of course after the hunger games and catching fire) ! ! ! ! read review

How many people have heard of the recent traumatic event that occured in China? if you haven't, there was a two year old girl that got run over by two cars, over a dozen people walked by her, ignoring her, until one good samaratin picked her up and moved her out of the street. she died in a hospital a few days later.
I know i wouldn't want anything like that to happen to anyone i know; some people may think "well, this is a china thing, it won't happen anywhere else" but the truth is … view post

Sorry it's taken me so long to reply!! I haven't read a really good book in a long time, but if you haven't read these ones I definitly suggest them.... Perfect Chemistry and Leaving Paradise by Simone Elkeles, The Mortal Instruments series by Cassandra Claire, and The Uninvited by Tim Wynne-Jones. These are just a few good ones that I've read over the summer. :)

hahaha me too :) But I haven't been into it as long as many people have. My Mom was against HP when I was a kid so I was never all that interested in reading them until the beginning of 2011 when my best friend (also a HP freak) told me that I have absolutely no other choice but to read them. I became sickly obsessed with them, quoting as many lines as I could remember... I bet you've seen HPDH2. What did you think about it?

    Lauren Neves says:

Same :) I'll read anything. I used to be really into Fantasy but I sorta got tired of the constant vampire books (although I do still read 'em :)).

The series of unfortunate events is amazing. I think there's thirteen books in total, definitly worth the read. :) I could never get into the chronicle of narnia books, but the movies are pretty cool. Hey, there's always a little kid in all of us! Like, I still love Disney movies. :D What are you reading now?

I don't know. There are a few that I've found by going through what other people have read and I want to read the ones that pop up a lot. There's rules of attraction, crave, Iron king series, Perfect Chemistry, Leaving paradise, Jessica's Guide to dating on the dark side, bumped, maze runner, linger, and Angelfire. But some aren't available at my local Coles and I have a stack at home I have to read so I might choose from there while I wait for some to come in. Have you ready any that i listed?

  • Jessica Etches

    Jessica Etches says:

Oh ya! Lol a long time ago. I read them when i was in elementary school, they are actually what got me into reading too!

  • Jessica Etches

    Jessica Etches says:

Wow! I'll have to check it out if its that good. Abandon is pretty good so far. i think she's making a series out of it so I can tell its not going to end finished the way its going. Still its pretty gripping if you like the Supernatural sort of stuff. I love it lol But I also love all the other sort of fictional novels, mostly teen stuff.
