This book is wonderful. I love it and read it with my sister growing up and now my son. It's been a book in my family for a number of years and we all love it. I get teary every time I read it and think about the future with my own son. It is good for parents to find humour in the crazy times and look to the future or reflect back on times with their own kids. It is particularly a great book for kids to show the relationship between parent and child though crazy at times, the love is always there. This is an important message and love how beautifully it was illustrated in this book!

This book is absolutely wonderful for kids. My son got it when he was 2 and he still loves it not that he's 4. We even bought a new copy as ours was read to pieces. The pictures and colours of the book are perfect for youngsters to catch their attention. They can point out the letters and helps learn sequence of the alphabet as well. The rhythm of the words is unbeatable and easy to learn and memorize. Your kids will want to read it again and again and again.

This movie made me remember why I loved the muppets growing up. My son (who had never seen a muppet anything before) fell in love with this movie particularly because of Harry Belafonte's performance. The 'african mask' song as he calls it is his favorite song to sing and teach to others. The day-o song has a hilarious performance. We have watched this film at least two dozen times before we bought it and since we now own our own copy we have watched it hundreds of times. It really is timeless fun.
